Duolingo or IELTS which should we prefer ?International English Language testing system (IELTS) is conducted by IDP and British Council whereas Duolingo is the conducting body itself. IELTS can be taken online as well as offline mode while Duolingo can be taken only in online mode. Another aspect of it is, the level of Difficulty is also less comparatively to the IELTS. The Duration of the examination is nearly 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes) of IELTS while in Duolingo it is 60 minutes.The another benefit of taking Duolingo test is the results are declared within 48 hours while in IELTS in the online mode as well results are declared within 4-5 days while in offline mode it takes 13 days.
